Jerry Williamson was hired in March 2008 as a Correctional Officer. He graduated from the C.O. Academy and was then assigned to the Jail Core. In April 2010, he joined the CERT Team.

In February 2014, he was assigned to the Jail Classification Unit and did that until he was promoted to Correctional Sergeant and assigned to the Jail Core in July 2015.

In January 2016 he was assigned as the Relief Sergeant and in January 2017 he was assigned as the South Jail Sergeant. In November of that year, he was assigned as the Sergeant of JMS/AB109/Realignment.

In February 2019, he was promoted to Correctional Lieutenant and assigned to the JMS/AB109/Realignment Unit.
