The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department was established in 1849 and is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in California, serving over 750,000 residents in San Joaquin County. With a staff of over 800 personnel, the department provides essential services to protect and serve all citizens within its jurisdiction.
