In compliance with AB2761 and our commitment to transparency, our agency is providing information regarding an in-custody death that occurred at the San Joaquin County Hospital in French Camp, CA.
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, a 78-year-old male inmate with pre-existing and declining health conditions was transported to a local hospital, where he remained under medical care while in custody. Despite continued treatment, his health deteriorated, and he was pronounced deceased on March 10, 2025.
